Tropic Natural Beauty Products

My ‘Mind Therapies’ are my main area of work but due to my passion and interest in the Mind/Body connection and the benefits of a natural lifestyle, I am also an Ambassador for a natural skincare and cosmetics company called Tropic. Tropic was launched in 2012 with a mission to provide honestly-priced, clean-green products that are effective on all skin types and derived from pure plant extracts.

Research has shown that what we are putting in our bodies and on our skins has a direct link on our health. As our skin is the largest organ of the body, and it takes as little as 26 seconds for what we put on our skin to be absorbed into the blood stream. Many of the beauty products in use today have harmful chemicals in them, and are these known to have an effect on the Endocrine System in the body, which is responsible for our hormone production.

Tropic - Ethical & Natural Ingredients

It therefore seemed a natural add-on to my business to be able to offer a natural alternative for these products, so that I am able to help empower the body, as well as the mind. Tropic is going from strength to strength and I am proud to be part of an environmentally friendly company that strives to be at the forefront of natural ingredient research without compromising its ethics. My business is called Empowering You Therapies, and Tropic’s Empowering Beauty branding fits in perfectly with that.

Tropic is a company jointly owned by its founder, Susan Ma, and Lord Alan Sugar. Susan appeared on the TV show the apprentice in 2010 to get funding to grow her skincare business. She made it to the final of the show, but did not win. Lord Sugar though was so impressed by her ethos and the products that he decided to invest in her anyways, and it is the combination of her passion for natural products and his business expertise that has made Tropic so successful.
